HOW TO:  make EASY tomato basil sauce

This easy and fresh sauce makes a quick summer dinner. My children love this so much and it is so easy to prepare.

All you need is: 24 oz of ripe tomatoes
Fresh Basil, 6 large leaves
3 Tablespoons good olive oil
3 garlic cloves chopped
dash oregano

Chop tomatoes, season with salt and pepper. In pot add olive oil, garlic and a few leaves of basil chopped. Saute for  5 minutes. Add tomatoes and more fresh basil and oregano. Cover and cook until tomatoes are soft. The magic that happens in this pot is so amazing. I use a hand blender because my children like this smooth but you can serve chunky just as well. Serve over pasta or spaghetti squash. Shaved cheese on top is always a treat!
