EDAMAME HUMMUS

Picture
This is a very simple but delicious hummus. I use this one for a sandwich spread  and for a healthy dip for vegetables and pita. Sometimes I will toast a pita or a flour tortilla over an open flame on the stove. Then I will spread this hummus on and top with a few fresh edamame and on it and call it my "pizza"  snack.

Ingredients"
1 cup edamame
1/2 cup garbanzo beans rinsed, reserve liquid
2 cloves roasted garlic
1/4 cup Tahini
1 teaspoon cumin

Puree all in your food processor scraping the  sides as you go. Using your  reserved liquid from your  garbanzo beans adding it in until you get your desired thickness.  The  green color is beautiful and the taste is lovely.  Enjoy!
This is so easy to make and so yummy to have on hand.

Enjoy your dip, your sandwich spread, your Edamame Hummus!
