"Leftovers" Turkey Shepard's Pie

Picture
Using your leftovers to build a shepherds pie is so simple! With the picture steps I show you on this page you will see leftover mixed vegetables, turkey. stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes. In a large bowl mix vegetables (if no leftovers, cooked, carrots, celery and onions work well) shredded or cubed turkey, stuffing,  gravy and mix well. You can use equal parts of each or about 1 or 1 1/2 cups each. Place ingredients in baking dish. Add mashed potatoes on top and bake at 350* until all ingredients are warmed through and mashed potatoes have a toasted crust about 25 minutes. I served mine with a dollop of cranberry sauce. This simple use of leftovers can be personalized to the leftovers you have on hand .This combination was delicious.                                                                                      Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Leftovers!   Jan
